Ronn Yedidia

Ronn Yedidia’s compositions have galvanized the attention of performing artists worldwide during the last two decades. His works have been featured in major concert halls and documented on film, radio and television. He has won high critical acclaim from leading newspapers around the world, as both composer and pianist.

Prophets is the bold new project established by Ronn, featuring a quartet of world-class musicians: Immanuel Davis (flute), Eddy Khaimovich (bass), and Paolo Cantarella (drums). Recorded at Kaleidoscope Sound between 2020–2023 and produced by Yedidia himself, Prophets blends classical artistry, jazz innovation, and chamber-style interplay into a sound that is both timeless and forward-thinking.

This recording features nine original compositions by Yedidia — Landscapes, Streams, Funking, Carry On, Arabesque, Flashback, Horizons, If Ever, and Quest. Each piece offers a distinct narrative: the meditative elegance of If Ever, the lyrical flow of Landscapes, and the rhythmic vitality of Funking collectively paint a portrait of Yedidia’s evolving artistry. The ensemble’s fluid communication allows each player to shine — Davis’s flute dances with lyricism and precision, Khaimovich’s bass provides depth and balance, Cantarella’s dynamic drumming energizes each passage, and Yedidia’s piano serves as the unifying voice of the quartet.

Prophets continues Yedidia’s lifelong journey of bridging classical form with the spontaneity of jazz. The album embodies his signature fusion of structure and freedom, where emotion and intellect converge in perfect balance. Engineered, mixed, and mastered by Kyle Cassel, with video direction by Giacomo La Vita and artwork and photography by Ananda La Vita, Prophets stands as a deeply expressive work — a testament to Yedidia’s ability to craft music that resonates across genres and generations.
