Conceived and curated by founder and director Juan J. Gutiérrez Rodríguez, Por la Plena...y otros asuntos celebrates La Plena, a genre rich with cultural significance and community spirit. The project began in late 2019, coinciding with the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. It reflects Gutiérrez Rodríguez’s journey of artistic inspiration and the desire to reconnect with musicians and audiences during these challenging times.
