Songwriter, vocal producer, bilingual vocalist, and powerhouse performer Natalie Fernandez brings a distinctive style of sensuality and class to every genre she sings. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Miami, FL, Natalie is the daughter of international tango star Stella Milano. Influenced by watching her mother perform, Natalie studied music and graduated from Berklee College of Music. She has performed with music legends such as Chaka Khan, Ruben Blades, Sheila E., Anita Baker, Juan Luis Guerra, Diego Torres, and Juanes. As a group member of the revolutionary bilingual Hip Hop duo Positive Perception, Natalie inspires with her soulful jazz and R&B lines to the head nodding hip hop rhythms of MC Johnny Matrik. In 2010, they released their debut album “A Voice In A World Of Echoes”. That same year, Natalie signed with Truth Revolution Records and began work on the yet to be titled “AfroTango Project” with the Curtis Brothers Quartet. The album promises to combine Afro-Cuban Rhythms with a bilingual Tango, Latin Jazz, and R&B., due out May of 2011.
